These are the highway hotspots to avoid this summer

Many of us will be heading on holiday over Christmas and New Years.

This means New Zealand's roads will be a lot busier and a more dangerous than usual.

Luckily the New Zealand Transport Agency has created a handy interactive map of when and where heavy traffic will hit up and down Aotearoa so we can make better travel plans to try and avoid getting stuck.

Simply zoom in and click on the area or search where you're intending to travel and away you go!
