The iPhone 7 has been revealed. It's water resistant and comes in a beautiful new glossy black colour called Jet Black.

The headphone jack has been removed, meaning you'll need wireless headphones or an adapter plug for your flash/charging jack. Apple is also releasing new wireless headphones called AirPods.

The iPhone 7 Plus has two cameras on the back of the smartphone.

Apple Watch Series 2 is also on it's way. It's water resistant to 50 metres and getting built in GPS.

Pokemon Go is coming to Apple Watch and Super Mario Run will be available in App Store.

Tim Cook began the event with a cheesy Carpool Karaoke bit with James Corden, then popstar Sia took the stage.

The iPhone 7 will cost $1,199 and the 7 Plus will cost $1,429. That's for the 32GB version. You can pre-order online from 7pm September 9.

The Jet Black finish is only available in the 128GB and 256GB capacity, so you're looking at paying at least $1399 for the iPhone 7 in Jet Black and $1629 for the iPhone 7 Plus in Jet Black.
