We've tried all the life hacks on offer for perfectly hard-boiled eggs.
But Drew Barrymore has a new trick to add to the list, and we have to admit, it's pretty amazing!
Why is it so amazing, you ask?
Because it means no more waiting for the water to boil!
Yup, that's right, Drew's new hack cuts down on time, hardware, and steps.
So let us introduce you to... the no-flame hard-boiled egg.
To make a no-flame hard-boiled egg, you'll want to fill a large, deep glass with very hot water. Hot tap water is fine, but you can also zap some water in the microwave the get it to a super-hot temp if you need.
Carefully drop your egg into the glass. Let it sit undisturbed for about 15 minutes.
Once 15 minutes has passed remove the egg and carefully rinse it under cold water.
Roll the egg in a paper towel to loosen the shell, then peel as usual.
Voila! You should have a perfectly hard-boiled egg.
Be warned though, it may take a couple tries before you to get it down to a science.
