Doritos lasagne recipe

Delicious and easy, this Doritos lasagne is a great Mexican twist on a family favourite.

For a 'healthy' alternative, use ground turkey instead of beef - it's Weight Watchers approved.

Ingredients:

  • 500g beef chilli
  • 1 large packet of Doritos (flavour of your choosing)
  • 300g grated cheddar
  • 2 flour tortillas
  • Jalapeños
  • Sour cream (to serve)
  • Salsa (to serve)
  • Spring onions (optional)

Method:

  1. Grab yourself a non stick baking dish.
  2. Start by laying a base layer of chilli, then Doritos, then cheese.
  3. Now place two corn tortillas on top of mix and press down, this ensures the final dish holds its shape.
  4. Now repeat the chilli, Doritos and cheese layers.
  5. Finally top with jalapeños and bake the whole dish at 180 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes.
  6. When out of the oven, serve up individual portions and top with sour cream, salsa and spring onions.
  7. It genuinely tastes even better than it looks.
