Social Contest Terms and Conditions

THE HITS COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. All The Hits competitions promoted on The Hits Facebook and/or Instagram pages are promoted by The Hits upon the following Terms and Conditions.

2. The Hits can be contacted by email at [email protected]

3. No competitions and promotions are sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram. By entering a competition you understand that you are providing your information to The Hits and not Facebook or Instagram.

4. Contests will begin on the date that the competition post (the "Post") is posted on Facebook/Instagram (unless specified in the Post) and will close at the given time and date specified in the Post.

5. Entry into a prize draw is only open to residents of New Zealand.

6. Employees of The Hits and NZME and their immediate families are ineligible to enter any competitions.

7. To be entered into the prize draw, you must comment on the Post and comply with these Terms and Conditions and the further terms of the competition specified in the Post. The details of the competition will be outlined in the Post.

8. The winner will be drawn at random on the date mentioned in the Post.

9. The winner will receive the prize described in the Post. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.

10. Winners of competitions will be notified by way of a private message and/or comment on the competition Post. The Hits will require the competition winner to private message their phone number to The Hits to claim the prize. If The Hits is unable to contact the winner within 60 days of the close of a competition, The Hits may re-draw the prize or determine that the prize is forfeited.

11. All competitions and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by New Zealand law.

12. The Hits may vary these Terms and Conditions and may terminate, suspend, modify or cancel any competition, or the prizes at any time without notice.

13. The Hits will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, however caused, arising out of your participation in any competition.
